Medical marijuana is coming to Arizona because it is the 15th state in the union to legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes.  It took nearly two weeks to tally up all the votes, but look out AZ here comes the green machine.  The question is now that it is passed what do they do?

The first step was passing Prop 203 and the second step is what the Arizona Dept. of Health Services is trying to figure out.  The director, Will Humble, said, “What we need to do is flesh out the details so we have a responsible system and that’s gonna take a lot of work.”  The then went on to say how the state is in a position to learn from the other 14 states how to run a medical marijuana program.  Lets just hope they don’t follow NJ’s policy, which is the worst policy.

Mr. Humble held a press conference to address what exactly the state will do, especially since they only have four months to get all the rules in place.  Right now everyone who wants to be a legit business owner is playing the waiting game to see how the state will set up the rules.  There are concerns that people will abuse the new law, but doesn’t everyone abuse some form of law anyway in this country?  So if that is going to happen no matter what then you have to make sure the police follow the law and enforce it.

When its all said and done however there will be 124 dispensaries in the state of Arizona where patients can get medical marijuana to treat their needs.
